Did you know that you do not need a license to conduct professional antiques, collectibles, valuables, aka ” personal property” appraisals? It’s 100% true!
The biggest myth in the appraisals business is “that you need to be licensed or certified to do professional personal property appraisal work.”
The fact is, you may already have what it takes to be a highly paid, professional appraiser. If you have that, you MOST certainly can charge between $75.00 and $150 per hour for appraisal work. Not only that, you can actually get it, but you must follow a strict appraisal guideline protocol to have your appraisals be accepted by legal institutions and insurance companies.
There are appraisal “societies and guilds”, which require a hefty membership fee and a lengthy, unnecessary testing process, but you do not need to be a member of these groups to be able to perform professional appraisals. The truth is, that to perform an acceptable appraisal, all you need to do is follow a certain strict but simple protocol. I’m so sure of this, if I’m wrong, I’ll give you double your money back! But I’m not.
I want to emphasize that I can only guarantee that this will successfully show professionals with knowledge in their field, how to get paid $75.00 to $150 per hour for accepted appraisal work and how to get the work. It’s not a get rich quick plan for those with little or no knowledge or experience with the items they wish appraise.
I can teach you the required protocol in a one day private seminar! That’s right! I can teach you how to write professional appraisals and start getting work in a one day private seminar, and I’ll show you how to start getting jobs.
You see, I’ve been conducting professional antiques and collectibles appraisals for many years without certification. For a long time is has been my plan that when I’d gotten enough experience to show others how to do it I would. I wanted to make sure to be able to say I’ve never been certified by ANY appraisal society nor has that ever stopped me from getting appraisal work.
Let me clearly state: there are absolutely no licensing NOR certification requirements for personal property appraisals in any US state, nor are there even any such licenses available. There is certification from societies for those that choose that route, but it is not required.
By the way, those appraisal societies are extremely demanding in time requirements, loyalty to the society and are very expensive.
Enjoy a new, well paid career with plenty of work waiting.

For court, or insurance company to accept your work, you must follow a certain strict but simple protocol, no more than that is required. Furthermore, a court or insurance company will not deny appraisal work because the appraiser is not “certified” as certification is not legally binding.
The protocol for personal property appraising is strict but not complicated by any means. I can teach it to you in private one day seminar.
I’ve been a professional appraiser of antiques and collectibles for many years, many were submitted to attorneys and courts. I have never been certified by any CAG or S (Certified Appraisers Guild or Society)
Now more than ever there is a vast amount of appraisal work that needs to be done in every state in the U.S.
FAQs
Q: Who can do this?
A: Anyone that has a reasonable amount of knowledge and experience with the items subject in the appraisals they wish to do, and who has learned how to format a proper appraisal, and follow protocol, that’s it. Can you do that, and are you ready to start making money? I hope so, because there’s plenty of work in this field!
Q: But can you really get any work without being “certified?”
A: Yes. I won’t go through the myriad of possibilities here, but suffice it to say you can get work in any of the ways that other professionals get work which do not require licensing. In fact, I’ll teach you how to get work, and will provide email support for one year!
Q: I’m convinced. What do I do next?
