The Show must NOT go on!

Hey everyonone! I want to thank you all for listening to the show, but it’s time to take the best part of the Selling Circus, (the once a month Round Table) and shift it over the The AuctionWally Show feed.

There will be no more new episodes to the Selling Circus, but all the past shows will stay posted on the Talkshoe Network as well as the show notes.

I hope you’ll all join me as I amp it up on the AuctionWally Show.

Thanks again

Walt

ep21 Indie musician Monk - from production to promotion

monk music

Artists of any kind will benefit from listening to this episode of the Selling Circus which features an interview with Monk, an indie musician from Munich, Germany.

Not only is Monk a very talented musician who has completely produced his new CD, Damaged Music for Damaged People, but he has taken control of marketing and promotion as well.

A man of many instruments, he plays everything on the album, has recorded it and mixed it himself.

In ep21 of the Selling Circus he explains how he did it, what steps other artists can take to be successful and how reaching out to an online network has helped him.

Monk subscribes to the theory that if you give something away, people will support you if it’s of good quality. It’s working for him very well. You can find his music free at: http://monk-music-monk.com

A BIG thanks to my friend Susan from http://renagadesrelics.com/  for helping out with the show. She has been a fan of Monk’s since he popped up online and is now acting as a distribution agent for his CD in the US.

I’d also like to thank some of the folks who show up every week to support the show and network with peers in the chat room. They provide inspiration and valuable information, and are the fuel for the engine needed to run a podcast.

They are:

Kat S.   who can be found at: KatsKloset

Kat B     the Gypsygirl

The Savvy Seller will give you Tips from the Top

Phaedra from  The Bonanzle Boardroom

Brightest Blessings helping just about anyone she can.

Cleos Great Deals

Shar from Sharsboutique who is also a sponsor of the show.

MommysBazaar who is so helpful to getting the word out for everyone!

and last but not least:

2woofers who has the best in unsual books and has really taken this episode to heart by supporting his cat who is working hard to break into the music business.

ep20 with Pay it Forward philosopher Chuck Hester

pay it forward

Hey everyone, the information conveyed and it’s sincere delivery were a delight to witness with Chuck Hester from Chuck Hester.com and iContact.com one of the leading email subscription list management services on the Web.

Chuck gave a good account of why and how to have an email subscription list, along with the best tips and tricks. An email subscriber list is a list of people who are your BEST prospects because they already know about what you do, and/or are already customers. Nuff, said here, but you should listen to the episode.

For the next half of the show, Chuck talked about the fascinating Pay it Forward group he’s involved with in Raliegh, NC. If you’re not familiar with the Pay it Forward movement, listening to Chuck is about the best way of learning that I can think of. And if you are, the conversation will ring familiar bells, so be warned you may be sparked into doing something productive and helpful.

Chuck has a book called Linking In to Pay it Forward. He’s offered a special promo code (payitforward10) that folks can use to get a 10% discount, free shipping and a special autographed copy.

Stephanie Hester, Chucks, wife has a book as well that we would like you to know about called Choose a Better Life.

ep18 The Canadian seller perspective

On this episode, we had as a guest on the show, Vince Jelenic from Greenspot antiques.

We discussed selling online from a Canadian perspective.

I hope you’ll stop by the Shars Boutique and Jodeze Gifts and More who have great holiday gifts and have been kind enough to sponsor the Selling Circus.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you’ll tune in next week as we host a round table discussion with Dave White of eBayandbeond and the Basics to Business podcast, and Melinda Jackson from The River, The Ranch and The Bay podcast.
